“Qualitative Change” in Chinese New Energy Vehicle Export
From January to October in this year, automobile enterprises exported 2.456 million vehicles, realized 54.1% year on year rise. Among them, 499,000 new energy vehicles were exported, up 96.7% year on year rise. Unlike the previous export of China's fuel vehicles to Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Middle East and others, new energy vehicles were mainly exported to well-developed automobile markets such as Europe, while the product premium capability has been significantly improved.

With the development of production and sales of new energy vehicles in China,  Chinese auto brands are gradually become identifiable in overseas markets. It is worth mentioning that today's automobile export has not only a "quantitative" growth, but also a "qualitative" leap.

On the one hand, differ from the era of fuel vehicles, Chinese new energy vehicles are mainly exported to the markets of developed countries such as Europe; On the other hand, thanks to the leading role of medium and high-grade autos, Chinese brands possess a stronger premium capacity in overseas markets. Relevant data shows that Chinese new energy vehicles have accounted for about 10% of the total sales in the European market.
